When Pouche made his debut back in 1989, he burst onto the scene with incredible enthusiasm! Following his heroic act of saving Easter and becoming the Easter Bunny's loyal assistant, he quickly gained global fame. Suddenly, he realized that children from all corners of the world were inviting him to visit them, to bring comfort and cheer. Pouche graciously accepted these invitations, discovering his true life purpose: to be there for children in need of solace, especially those with disabilities or facing illness.
He felt deeply honored to have the opportunity to assist children, and he never once looked back. To this day, Pouche continues to appear when someone requires a comforting hug, a friendly chat, or even a joyful hop! And it's highly likely that within that pouch of his, he'll carry a delightful surprise for his newfound friends!
At long last, Pouche made a group of true friends!
This spirited crew consisted of characters with their own distinctive quirks. Digger had an affinity for excavating the earth, Twister reveled in twirling around, and Puffy boasted the most endearing tummy in the entire town. These charming bunnies peered beyond Pouche's distinct dissimilarities and connected with him wholeheartedly, embracing him without reservation.
They became Pouche's first real friends.
Their bond was so strong that they cherished their togetherness immensely, and they dubbed their
tight-knit group "The Cotton Kids."
It began long, long ago, on a beautiful remote island.
Pouche was born with physical differences that made him stand out. Too young for he and his friends to realize he was unique, he made friends easily, and his mommy and daddy loved him so, but as he grew older, he began noticing he had a pouch like a kangaroo!!! He was also born with one little ear smaller than the other. He was so self-conscious about the differences in his appearance, and several of the other bunnies didn't understand his unique look. so they mocked him and picked on him. This made Pouche so sad and feeling so rejected, like he wouldn't fit in anywhere, with anyone.
As fate would have it though, during the season of Spring, Pouche heard the terrible news that the Easter Bunny had become injured and there were rumors of Easter being cancelled altogether!
He realized how his pouch could come in handy, so he contacted her and offered his assistance.
Pouche saved Easter.
Ever since that pivotal moment, Pouche has experienced an incredible boost in confidence and received an outpouring of support.
Fueled by this newfound self-assuredness,
he is on a resolute mission to empower other children to acknowledge their inherent gifts and talents.
Pouche is dedicated to inspiring them to embrace their true selves
and take pride in the unique way they were created.
